The objective of the Fund is to achieve consistent capital appreciation with a controlled level of risk through investing in and trading a long/short Thematic portfolio of securities.
The Fund will generally invest in themes through baskets of small and mid cap companies. In order to concentrate on the desired investment theme it is often appropriate to invest in small cap companies whose focus is narrower than larger companies which may operate in the broader industry.
The fund will also focus on smaller firms that may be under-researched (and therefore under-invested) by traditional investment funds. The Fund's goal is to achieve a Long/Short strategy with pure thematic approach using small companies to increase alpha and reduce volatility.
